Distributed architectures for data sovereingty: DDDC pilot kick off.
The kick off workshop of the Digital Democracy and Data Commons (DDDC) pilot will take place on October 18th, in the context of the event “Digital Cities, Digital Freedoms: Digital Commons, Ethical Standards and Free Software for Cities”, at Fabra i Coats.
As you know, this is the first step of a 6 month long deliberative, participatory process on data regulation, governance and economics, oriented to think about and test tools that will help citizens to take back control over their personal data in the digital society.
This first workshop will consist in a collaborative diagnosis session in three specific areas: data governance, economics, and regulation. The results will be integrated into a transdisciplinary and collaborative discussion process that will result (among other things) in a DECODE participatory manifesto. If you want more details about the paper and get your name included among the participants, please write us at [email protected]
